Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker are the two U.S. Senators currently representing the State of Tennessee in Washington. Both are Republicans.

Lamar Alexander is not up for re-election in 2012.

Bob Corker is up for re-election in 2012.

Bob Corker is facing two opponents in the August Republican Primary: Brenda Lenard and Zack Poskevich.

The winner of the Republican Senate Primary will face the winner of the Democrat Senate Primary. Those running for Democrat Senate primary are: Park Overall, Larry Crim, Mark E. Clayton, Gary Gene Davis, Dave Hancock, T. K. Owens and Benjamin Roberts.

In addition, there are five Independent candidates running for U.S. Senator in Tennessee: Shawn E. Crowell, David Gatchell, James Higdon, Michael Joseph Long, Troy Stephen Scoggin.
