Prediction: A crushing defeat for Mr. Hope and Change!

Anyone over the age of seven or eight remembers learning to be responsible for their own actions. One of the very first items we are taught as children is, “ If I lie, I get in trouble“. Mom will either make me sit in the corner, spank me or force me to stay in my room that Saturday. These lessons are ones we learn at a young age in America. Ask a friend or your spouse, right now, to tell you their chief complaints about Barack Obama. I’ll bet one of them is ”He won’t accept responsibility for anything“.

Even though it’s June, America has already become weary of hearing the mantra “ It’s all Bush’s fault“. Now, I could of course list all the stats and all the numbers to prove that this President has managed to inflame what was already a bad situation. But since I am a very polite cowpoke, I will only say, It’s much worse today than when W departed the big White House. Three and half plus years later, we all know this, but still we hear this President whining about Bush. It’s getting on most people’s nerves. Strike One!

America is also very aware that we are sitting on massive oil reserves. Over time, information has leaked out that we in fact have as much oil (maybe more oil) than Saudi Arabia has. We have a thousand-year supply of coal. And in numbers that even my computer probably cannot display, in terms of cubic feet of natural gas. Yet we are paying more than $3.50 a gallon for gasoline? Believe me when I tell you, Barack Obama has just lost millions of votes for his actions toward the oil companies and the citizens of America at the pump. His energy policy– attacking drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, drilling on dry ground here in America, mining coal in West Virginia or Pennsylvania or Ohio– will cost him dearly in November. But this pales in comparison to his decision to only allow a fraction of the Key Stone Pipeline to be built. He even managed to lose Canada’s vote with that one.  Strike Two!

Barack Obama is governing by Executive Order! On the surface this doesn’t sound like a big deal. But it is to a political junkie like myself. Now, however, the American people are starting to wake up and see the results of this total abuse of power. A bit of it, you saw with the healthcare bill. The President didn’t listen to the howls coming from the American people; he simply shoved this bill down our collective throats. And this was in the face of about 60% of our citizens screaming ” We don’t want this monstrosity”. Then came the opening up of the military to uniformed, Gay Pride parades. Many executive orders later, he is now usurping the powers of Congress and those of the hallowed halls of the Senate: America, you will allow some 1 million “Illegal Aliens” to stay in America and ” Oh by the way, they will not be deported”. Keep in mind, while many Americans are somewhat apathetic about politics, they know how terrible our unemployment rate is. They also smell a rat in the wood pile, that Obama doing this in an attempt to garner the Latino votes in New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. Strike Three!

It is my never-to-be-humble opinion that Barack Obama just struck out. Why do I say this? While the three examples above, of him swinging and missing, are very relevent, they are still not the icing on the cake. The creamy frosting that will sink Barack Obama is his now very obvious inexperience as a leader, and his total arrogance about those things that matter to most Americans. Barack Obama is consumed with narcissism, and we know it. We see it and feel it when he speaks– his very tone is filled with arrogance and contempt for America. We know he doesn’t love this nation. As we used to say out in West Texas, ” Obama is all hat and no cattle “! The days of him delivering the grandiose speeches with a 100,000 people screaming are over. As my grandfather used to tell me, If you shake a man’s hand, you had better be able to deliver! Barack Obama shook America’s hand back at Bronco’s Stadium in Denver. He shook it again in Chicago, on the night of the election. And on both accounts, he has failed to deliver. And when he could not deliver ( because of his own, bad policies ), he blamed Bush.

Obama has now officially given up on Florida and North Carolina. He lost Florida when he directed his Department of Justice to attack them over the 180,000 fraudulent voters that the Gator State is trying to purge to restore a clean voting process. When this President did that, he lost the state. He lost North Carolina by attacking the Tar Heels’ opposition to Gay marriage. And he’s already lost Arizona and Texas. In fact, if you looked at a map of the nation, the center of it would look like it has been shot with a shot-gun. Obama is now relegated to campaigning in New York and California. But don’t look now– with California’s money issues and severely high taxes because of Governor Moon-Beam, it is entirely possible that he could lose that land of fruits and nuts, as well.

Here’s the bottom line: this President wrote checks that his experience level, in both politics and life, made impossible for him cash. His checkbook is filled with Ideology, instead of practical experience or wisdom. America seeks results, not broken promises and blaming others for their mistakes. We don’t want excuses. We want someone who will stand up, be apologetic and remorseful, not blame others! Since this President doesn’t have it in his arrogant DNA to do the very thing that might very well get him re-elected, he’s stuck out.

Take heart, America. President Obama is going down in flames! He is in trouble: he knows it, we know it and even David Axelrod knows it. I wonder what that lady in Detroit thinks now, the one who was waiting to get her “Obama money”? Has she figured out that “ Obama money ain’t gonna pay for her car or her house payment “?
