Obama’s Bush(41) moment: ” The private sector is doing fine”

7:16 pm in discussions, Elections, press conference, scott walker, Videos by Gil Guignat

President Obama tells us " the private sector is doing fine." source: freerepublic.com

On June 8, 2012, President Obama gave a press conference that lasted a little over 22 minutes. At the 21 minute mark President Obama said with a totally straight face that the ” private sector was doing fine.” (click here)This on the heels of a disastrous jobs report.

The May unemployment report created a measly 69,000 jobs when 154,000 were projected.

Just 69,000 Jobs Created In May, Unemployment Ticks Up To 8.2 Percent | According to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the economy created just 69,000 jobs in May, and the unemployment rate ticked up to 8.2 percent. The private sector created 82,000 jobs, while the public sector lost 13,000 jobs. March’s number was revised down from 154,000 to 143,000 jobs created, while April’s number was revised down from 115,000 jobs created to just 77,000. 42.8 percent of the unemployed have been out of work for at least six months, while the U-6 measure of underemployment increased slightly to 14.8 percent.” More…  This clearly is a sign that the private sector is doing just fine according to President Obama.

Back when President Bush (41) was running for re-election, he too thought the economy was doing just fine when it wasn’t.

‘ Campaign of 1992When the Persian Gulf War ended in March 1991, President George H. W. Bush had very high approval ratings, some even approaching 90 percent. Few people imagined that in just a year, his political fortunes could change so dramatically. But the American people were less concerned with his foreign policy successes than with the changing economic situation at home. The U.S. economy had slowed down, and middle-class Americans had grown increasingly upset about the President’s inaction on the economic recession…The 1992 presidential campaign focused primarily on domestic issues, specifically the economy. Clinton’s unofficial campaign slogan was “It’s the economy, stupid.”‘ More…

President Obama has reduced his presidency to one fundraiser after another in between golf games and nothing more. For him to say that the “private sector is doing  fine” is a blunder he won’t  recover from.  We have just had the Wisconsin recall elections which was a massive defeat for President Obama. The governor of the state, Scott Walker, should have been recalled judging from the $25 million spent to defeat him; yet, Obama’s Democrat machine failed miserably and still it persisted in telling the world this was a net victory for Obama. This is so delusional that it leaves one speecheless. This same kind of delusionary imbalance was injected in President Obama’s press conference today where he thinks the private sector is doing just fine. We have to say this over and over again because we still cannot believe he said this. What planet does he live on exactly?

This lack of awareness ( often called delusion)  is what got President Bush booted out and this is what will get President Obama defeated in November. Count on it!

The white male purge from within the Secret Service

5:52 pm in Columbia, discussions, Headlines, paula reid, prostitute, secret service by Gil Guignat

Paula Reid the secret service agent who turned in her colleagues source: dailymail.co.uk

Everything in the Obama administration is about race. This scandal inside the Secret Service regarding agents using prostitutes during Obama’s trip to Columbia  is contrived and suspect. If  the press had been told to ignore it, no one would have known anything about it. We have always believed there was more to this story and it had nothing to do with prostitutes.

When you can have scandals like Fast and Furious swept under the rug as thousands of people are killed because Obama’s Attorney General may have authorized thousands of guns to be sold to drug dealers, you know that this Secret Service issue could have been squelched in a flash. When there are grave questions about the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate and his selective service documents, and the press ignores it, you know the press can ignore anything if it is told to do so. Early on during Obama’s rise to power he was accused of having homosexual relationships and an accuser came forth alleging he had a homosexual affaire with Obama. The press ignored that too.

The point here is that the press is kept on a tight leash by the White House and is told what to cover. It was told to cover this Secret Service scandal and to blow it up as large as possible. Within hours that it was discovered that the Secret Service was allegedly having wild parties with prostitutes, the story became national news.

All of the sudden, we are to believe that this relatively minor prostitution scandal is now the biggest story in America. Washington, DC operates on a steady diet of prostitutes and everyone is partaking in the partying both Democrats and Republicans. These DC insiders want us to believe that they are now so outraged that they need to sanitize the Secret Service?

Enter Paula Reid “South American Chief & Rising Black Star” in the Secret Service. Reid is the one who gave life to the Secret Service scandal. This according to the Hinterland Gazette. Notice that Reid is not described as a rising star in the Secret Service but as a rising black star. We are also told about Ms. Reid that:

” Paula Reid’s rise to the top wasn’t always rosy. Ten years after entering the Secret Service at the bottom of the ladder she joined a class-action lawsuit that accused the agency of racial discrimination against black personnel. She provided a declaration citing examples of ways black agents were relegated to lesser assignments.” More…

To complain about discrimination is not at issue here. Just keep in mind how quickly this became a story after Reid turned in her colleagues. It was front news coverage within hours.

What else do we know about Reid?

” In a separate 1997 USA Today interview about the Secret Service’s desire to recruit more female agents, Reid was quoted as saying that when she and male agents were working together on an assignment, their managers would usually ignore her in favor of her male counterparts. ” More…

What this tells us is that Reid probably has some pretty well established press contacts for a Secret Service agent that started at least 15 years ago.

And how did Reid get started in the Secret Service?

” She grew up in Maryland, and has served in the White House as well as Miami since joining the Secret Service in 1990. She never married and has a twin sister. She is regularly seen at the gym at 5:30 in the morning and at her desk by 7 a.m. Reid graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in criminal justice and joined the Secret Service at age 25 after visiting an NAACP job fair that sought to encourage minority applicants for law enforcement jobs.” More…

Is it reasonable to conclude that Reid is a product of affirmative action? Probably. Could she be the latest poster girl of the left leaning press after Cindy Sheehan, Sandra Fluke, Trayvon Martin, the female accusers of Herman Cain  (where did all those women go after their five minutes of fame?) and on and on?

Reid is black and female. Her colleagues are white and male. They are all being purged by a media that chose to focus on this story hours after it occurred a media that may have been told to savage these agents in order to destroy them. This media frenzy was no accident. Are we to believe that after 20 years of service Reid never knew about what her colleagues were doing in their free time? Why did she have to turn them in this time? This is one whistle blower who will most likely get lots of love and admiration from the Obama administration unlike the others who are summarily destroyed.

We really do not know what the facts are. If they are as represented the agents should have known better and should be held to account.
Maybe the agents thought it was not a problem to party a little because they wanted to emulate their president who sponges every last benefit off of the taxpayers. No president in the history of the country has taken so many vacations and golf outings as this president. The president even said in Columbia that one of his goals was to see if this could be an acceptable vacation spot for his wife Michelle
.

Against this backdrop of scandal and political destruction, the president was preoccupied with where his next vacation might be.

We do know that this story is a flash mob story designed to create outrage so that people’s lives are destroyed and the Obama agenda is fulfilled. No media story these days makes it to front page news unless a lot of people direct it to be so and most likely because of an agenda and political advantage that may reach all the way back to the White House.

What political advantage was ill gotten by using Reid as the poster girl for this scandal? Here is what we know. A lot of  men who are white were fired and Reid’s complaints as far back as 15 years ago were about men who were white. Were there no black Secret Service agents who were in Columbia too? Are we to believe they would have been excluded from the partying? Unfortunately, if the agents’ actions are true they walked into a lynching made of their own volition. This serves them right especially if some of the agents were married.

It will be very interesting to see where Reid ends up now. Maybe with all the riff-raff out of the way, she can run the place. What luck! In the end did Reid turn her colleagues in because she thought she was doing the right thing or did she do it because she saw an opportunity to advance the Obama race agenda? Who knows! We suspect this story has more than one plot.

Defend and Protect is the Motto for Party Leaders

Newsmax is reporting  Romney and Republicans have confidence in Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan in the wake of the Colombia prostitution scandal.  How quick they fall in line to praise the ‘leaders of the pack’ for wrongdoing by subordinates.  My version is that this happened on whose watch!  Poor leadership is to blame, but not when the Republicans quickly jump to defend and protect the Director and the case isn’t a week old yet.  What happened to the “lead by example” that Obama always quotes.  Oh, excuse me I guess they did, practicing if it is good enough for the leadership then what about us the field hands.  The moral character of the leadership in this nation leaves a great deal to admire.  They are all swimming in a cesspool of corruption.  They keep attempting to penetrate our schools, our churches, the media and influence the people that times are changing and you people out there are puritans, so get with the times and the program.

Thus, none of ‘this’ comes as any surprise.  We have known about the ‘them’ and ‘us’ for some time now.  Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney told syndicated radio host Laura Ingraham on Wednesday that he has full confidence in Sullivan. Earlier, Romney said he strongly supported Sullivan. “We are a nation, after all, under law and the president has confidence in the head of the Secret Service, as do I,” Romney said.

Since when do the Republicans side with the Usurper in Chief about morals and quote a nation under law in the same breath?  Douglas Band, counsel to former President Clinton, praised Sullivan as an “exemplary public servant who has done a remarkable job overseeing the Service.”  Oh yes, a bang up job there Mr. Director. We can tell you were right on top of this problem.

Conclusion to the Secret Service is when you guys and gals signed on to this duty of protecting the higher ups did you know that if anything goes wrong, aka is leaked to the people, then you get thrown under the bus and the leadership gets praise and promotion.  Thus, I would be rethinking my career path and get out now or you will go down with the ship.  The foundation is crumbling quickly.

So Mitt, you thought you were a shoe in the door with the ‘Party’ endorsement.  Apparently you are a follower and not a leader.  Guess what people, there is no Miss Popularity in this contest and the Indians are getting restless out here in the trenches.  You do not walk your talk and we are keeping score.
