Dear Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Victoria passed away this morning at 4:15AM after a sudden illness. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Rhodus, her mother, Betty Pugh, both of Colorado and 3 grandchildren. Prior to moving to Richmond, VA, Victoria lived in San Diego, Denver and Amarillo. Victoria ran a blog entitled, “Windsor’s America” on the website, “Richmond Patriots” or “The Patriots.” She was a champion for liberty defending the Constitution and instrumental in exposing corruption in the state of Virginia and criminal activity in and of the Obama administration. Victoria fought the good fight for our country and now deservedly and peacefully rests with God.

Victoria is now “in the palm of His hand”

(Jul. 11, 2012) — The Post & Email has been told by a close friend that Victoria passed away at 4:15 EDT this morning. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends, of which there were many.

Victoria was active on blogs and newspapers in the constitutional arena. She was an excellent researcher, particularly in the area of ancestry. One of the last emails The Post & Email received from her stated that she had found evidence that the records of Madelyn Payne Dunham and Stanley Armour Dunham had been “tampered with.”

Victoria had also performed extensive research on the background of then-presidential candidate Rick Santorum in an attempt to determine if he met the definition of “natural born Citizen” found in Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution. It was believed that Santorum’s father had not naturalized prior to his son’s birth. Santorum dropped out of the race on April 10 but could be a candidate for vice president. The vice president must qualify under Article II in order to assume the duties of the president in the event of the president’s “removal, death or resignation” under the 25th Amendment.

The last email exchanged between this writer and Victoria was on April 15. Although something seemed amiss, it was not identifiable. Others had also begun to notice that something was different. We believe that Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III was one of the last people in our community to speak with her before she was hospitalized. Fitzpatrick has had her in his prayers since learning of her illness.

Victoria was very concerned about the signs of Sharia law taking hold in the United States and introduced us to a knowledgeable person on the subject.

Over the last several months, Victoria had been involved in a new project which we do not believe she was able to complete.

She was a strong moral supporter of all of her friends. Last fall, when this writer was experiencing some personal challenges, Victoria was one of the few people in whom we confided. She would sign her name with just a “V.” In one of her messages about the subject, she said, in part:

Stay warm and safe. Your spirit is brighter now, I can hear it in your words. V

Victoria also provided assistance to this writer and others upon the receipt of death threats in June of last year through her research on cyberstalking laws. She stood up for what was right and always showed concern for others. Ever vibrant and energetic, it was a shock to this writer to learn approximately three weeks ago that she was gravely ill.

Upon the death of this writer’s father last July, Victoria sent a lovely note, to which we responded, in part:

The way in which you have expressed your thoughts to me has great meaning, and I take comfort from your words.

She was also supportive of others who have lost loved ones during the past year.

We never met her, but we are told she was beautiful, with blue eyes and long blond hair. We were told she looked much younger than her actual age.

We pray that her journey was a warm and safe one. We take comfort in knowing that she is now in repose with He Who “raises us up on eagle’s wings and holds us in the palm of His hand.” Rest well, dear friend.

As we all enjoy our burgers, hotdogs and fireworks on this 4th of July, please do take a moment and say thank you to those patriot’s that gave us this day. Without those that sacrificed so much at Lexington and Concord, we would not be enjoying that pool side BBQ tomorrow or that baseball game under the banner of our flag of freedom and liberty.

Arpaio schedules another news conference on eligibility

Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse investigating Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility have been promising more major revelations since their March 1 press conference, and now another event has been scheduled to unveil new information.
Arpaio told Tea Party Tribune a press conference will be held July 17 at 2:30 p.m. local time at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Tea Party Tribune will also be there covering this breaking news event and have exclusive video and interviews to post. The evidence will include information gathered in the posse’s recent investigative trip to Hawaii as well as an update on the ongoing investigation.

At the March 1 conference, Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse announced there is probable cause that the document released by the White House in April 2011 purporting to be Obama’s original, long-form birth certificate is a forgery. The posse said it also found probable cause that Obama’s Selective Service registration form is fraudulent.

WND reported last month that a letter from Hawaii’s Department of Health verifying Obama’s birth in Honolulu has “opened the door” to some “shocking revelations” the posse is promising to disclose.

Among the details leaked early by Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo: There are allegedly several stamps bearing Registrar Alvin Onaka’s name “floating around” inside the Hawaii Department of Health.
“I can’t disclose to you what we’ve discovered, but it’s going to be a shocking revelation at our press conference,” Zullo told Tea Party Power Hour host Mark Gillar in a telephone interview from Hawaii.

Three weeks after the March 1 press conference, Arpaio said there was “tons” more potentially shocking information on Obama in connection with his probe into the president’s eligibility.

Zullo said the letter fails to list Obama’s birth date, and it’s merely stamped with the registrar’s name, while another set of initials – not Onaka’s – appears next to the signature.

America’s Favorite Plumber made it official this past week. Joe Wurzelbacher aka “Joe the Plumber”, who confronted then-candidate Barack Obama on wealth re-distribution and became a household name, has decided to run for the United States Congress. The part about running for Congress you already know. Joe announced that months ago. Here’s the brand-new part of this story: ” Joe the Plumber will be speaking at the Celebrating Liberty Festival, in Moriarty, NM”!

A quick side story about Joe
Last year, I met Joe at the Des Moines, IA, airport. I had to run out to the airport to pick up Mr. Herman Cain, who was then working Iowa pretty hard for their upcoming caucuses. We had a Tea Party rally that day on the steps of the Iowa Capitol in downtown Des Moines. As Mr. Cain walked from his private plane to the airport building, I glanced over at a fellow standing beside me and asked, “Who is that with Mr. Cain?”. Joe the Plumber, was the answer. I got a chance that day to speak with him on a litany of topics, everything from Obamacare to taxes, even a bit about foreign policy– mainly, how badly Obama was handling Israel and the Middle East.

It took about twenty minutes for us to arrive at the Capitol. I’ve got to take my hat off to Joe and Mr. Cain for one thing. They had come from the balmy confines of Georgia that day, with no idea it was going to be 31 degrees out with a stiff breeze coming out of the north. They only had their sports coats and dress shirts with them. Poor Joe and Mr. Cain suffered through our Des Moines “Iced Tea Rally”. But did either one have a derogatory word to say about that frigid experience they endured? No! Tough is an understatement. These guys are tough! In contrast, I wore goose down, and donned gloves. Even I was cold. But those two gave rousing speeches about Government over reach and the stupidity of Obama’s spending practices, and shook every hand with grace.

One last thought about Joe. During this campaign, you have already heard the elitists say quite a few nasty things about Joe. I have zero doubt that this will continue. What are they saying? Joe is not smart enough to be a Congressman. WRONG!

He brings something that is sorely missing in Washington, D.C. these days. I call it Horse Sense! Right now, we have hundreds of people with Harvard degrees up on Capitol Hill. We have PHD’s running out our collective backsides in everything from Political Science, Economics, Health Care and a roster of other topics. And what have we as a nation gotten for all this brilliant education? A $16 trillion-dollar debt, a screwed-up health care system, national borders with more serious leaks than the Titanic and countries around the world that hate us with such passion that my limited vocabulary cannot begin to describe it. We also have a system so broken and corrupted that no one knows how to repair it.

To sum up, here’s what Joe provides:

3. Horse Sense that rivals genius in many ways. See, “Joe’s Horse Sense” is not horse sense at all– it’s Burro Sense. Let me explain.

Burros are actually smarter than horses. While horses are pretty smart, burros are wise. There’s a very good reason why burros are used at the Grand Canyon to traverse the steep cliffs when you ride to the bottom. Burros watch carefully where they place their hooves. Bet you didn’t know that, did you? Burros also watch what they eat. They rarely over-eat, just until they are full. Afterwards, they sun themselves or take a nap. Burros are also wise about their own safety. They group together to fight off coyotes and other predators.

How does this all relate to Joe? He’s run a business, knows how to paid his bills and his taxes. He votes and acts like a good citizen. When was the last time you heard of a sitting, career politician in Washington doing any of those things? Joe balanced his budget! Has anyone you know with an office address on Pennsylvania Avenue done that lately?

James Madison, John Adams, George, Thomas, Ben and the rest wanted us to send citizens to D.C., not lawyers or “really smart people”. This is the reason why. Joe is intelligent, but his is just Burro intelligence.

Personally, I think we ought to send about 350 more Joes to D.C. and get this mess cleaned up. How about Harry the Electrician or Ben the Pipe-fitter? Heck, I would even settle for Larry the Black-Jack Dealer or Sally the Car Salesperson.

This past week we started our email fund-raising efforts. Yep, I don’t know exactly how it’s going yet, but I do know that we’re trying to raise about $200,000.00 to put on this little weenie roast. After that, we’ll be able to do more of them: Iowa, Ohio and Colorado. You noticing a trend here? These are all major, swing states. Look at Ohio, where Democrats have been stuffing the ballot boxes with dead people’s votes . And Colorado, which has been invaded with California liberals. We’ve got our work cut out for us!

I would be remiss if I did not begin this with a very heartfelt tribute to our soldiers and their families on this Memorial weekend. If it were not for the sense of love, duty and honor that these brave warriors gave for our nation, we would not be a nation. When I think back in just my lifetime, I have lived through a hundred thousand of these great men and women giving the ultimate sacrifice for America. Since the 1770′s, America has lost untold amount’s of her treasure to the cause of Liberty. Why?

It is human nature at its core to desire to be free. Freedom and liberty to choose what I want to eat tonight, or what occupation I want to serve humanity with for my day’s on earth. The ability to choose whom I want to marry and spend my life with. How do I want to worship, or who do I want to worship? Do I want to worship at all or do I want to not believe in a God or this fellow named Jesus?

In America, we have the ability to do all the above. Would it surprise you to know that in China for instance, your limited to one child! If you and your wife have a girl, you do not have the ability to ” try ” again to give birth to a son to carry on the family name. For nearly a hundred years in Russia for instance, you were told by the government what occupation you have for your working years. If the government needed plumbers, then you became a plumber. That simple! If you wanted to be an engineer, too bad, the government needs plumbers.

Early on in America, had it not been for a few brave souls, we would be worshipping today at the Church of England. There would no LDS Churches, Baptist, Church of Christ or Lutherans on American soil. These great men and women took it upon themselves to give you the ability to worship or not worship as you desired.

This weekend, between your grilled burgers, hotdogs and cold beer, do bow your heads and say a special thank you. For had it not been for these heroes, you would not be grilling that hotdog or drinking that iced down Budweiser. You would not be gathered around the flat-screen today, watching the greatest spectacle in racing either.  Keep in mind, it is not just the soldier that we revere today. We also say thank you to the mother that gave her son for freedom and the dad, uncle and grandparent that gave their precious grand-daughter to the cause. We at Restoring America Project offer our deepest love, respect and gratitude to the families of these fallen heroes.

Onward to the business of ” Celebrating Liberty Festival “!

This past week has been an interesting one to say the least. On Tuesday we had the good folks from the Audio/Visual company, meet our esteemed event coordinators at the site to measure footage and blue-print the site for staging, sound and visual effects. Your’s truly had teleconference calls with these folks, plus the tenting folks and got our quotes in. Oh my, while I know that they are giving us outstanding pricing on tents for this little weenie roast called a festival, it is still a very large pill to swallow. Between staging and tents alone, we are in this at nearly $100,000.00! For a one day event? You guys had better have a real good time or I am gonna be one more upset patriotic cowpoke. And to think, I have yet to rent a portable out-house or buy a hotdog.

Had several great conversation’s this week with potential speakers and their staff’s. You guys are going to be stunned when you see who show’s up to speak at this event.

We also have put a couple of great press releases on behalf of the some of the good guys. We are inviting a great American hero or at least I believe he is a hero to speak at the Celebrating Liberty Festival.  His name is Jim Bridenstine and he is running for Congress. This fellow is a Lt. Commander ( now in the Naval Reserves ) and used to fly F-18′s off the deck of aircraft carriers. He was active in Iraq and Afghanistan. I had the hair raising experience of landing on the deck of the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk CV-63 once. There is not a snow balls chance in ( you know where ) I would have done that hundreds of times like Commander Bridenstine did. Hat’s off to the Commander and I do hope he can fit us into his hectic schedule and speak. He is up against a true politician in Oklahoma’s first district. This guy named Sullivan, it turns out ( now keep in mind these guys are paid astronomical salaries ) has missed some 679 votes since being sworn in as a United States Congressman. How do you miss nearly 700 votes in Congress? If I am paid what these guys are paid and I am serving you the America people, I am not missing votes unless my house has burned down or I am running 104 fever, am contagious and bed ridden. This guy is absolutely a sham as a Congressman. Disgraceful is about all I can offer about that, and my hero Forest Gump would say.

Under the radar!

As promised, this is your weekly ”Under the Radar ” segment. This is the behind the scenes stuff.

O.K., as you know we have to raise boat loads of money to pull off these grand events known as ” Celebrating Liberty Festival’s “. One of the way’s to do this is through email fund-raising.  Well our internal computer genius, was finally able this week to complete the code for allowing us the ability to do this. My heartfelt thank’s go out to our “un-named hero ” and you know who you are. Bottom line is, we can now put together through this maze of computer stuff “ that your’s truly doesn’t understand “, the messaging necessary to convince patriotic Americans to assist us.

Now let me tell you more about this exciting, new section on our event site. It’s where you will get the up-to-the-minute status as we  plan this great event. On top of this, you will get behind-the-scenes glimpses you won’t find anywhere else– exclusively for you, the Tea Party Tribune and Celebrating Liberty reader! This section will be titled Under the Radar.

Current Status:

The current status of the festival? We’re on target to have a huge blowout, or what I like to refer to as a Conservative Mardi Gras.

Already our official event coordinator is on the ground in Moriarty, New Mexico. Robin Foshee is a Tea Party faithful, and I’m beginning to thank the good Lord daily for her tremendous talents as an organizing wiz– which is a must for events of this scale. Her capable assistant, Jim Gillespie, deserves a mention, too. He is another Tea Party faithful, and one of the those fellows that knows everyone (or knows someone who knows everyone). That’s another, much-needed commodity in this endeavor. But one of the most exciting things about their coming on board for Celebrating Liberty Festival is that you can help, too! Robin and Jim are looking for volunteer coordinators for each and every aspect of this event. Do you happen to live in (or want to hang out in) New Mexico? If so, do get in touch with me! This is a three-month commitment, starting immediately. Don’t worry about experience, or whether you think you can do something like this… They will need folks to handle an array of details, and you can find your niche. Don’t doubt me on this!

Our entertainment for this festival is rounding out very nicely. So far, we’ve booked some great entertainers– with more on the way. Again, you will want to keep up on our updates, in the Under The Radar section, as they materialize. (www.celebratingliberty.com) You never know what exciting performers might be joining us! You’ll notice that when you click on the respective names of the confirmed performers, you can watch their videos. Currently, that list includes Kimbirly Vasi, Garrett Lloyd King, Krista Branch and Grammy Winner Steve Vaus. 

For the hard-core Tea Party crowd,  we’ve booked some hard-hitting speakers in the line-up, too. Fox News contributor, and Founder of The Black Sphere.net , Kevin Jackson will be spewing his loyalty to our constitution and other patriotic messaging. He is a fire breather of a speaker and very entertaining to listen to. We also have Tom Trento from The United West, a fellow that routinely goes toe to toe with The Muslim Brotherhood. Not even our hero Chuck Norris can match Tom, when it comes to strong, verbal warfare for America! You’ll cheer as Tom gives his rousing opinion on how America must handle radicals like the Muslim Brotherhood. Lt. Governor John Sanchez , another brilliant speaker, has confirmed. He is very popular with his native New Mexicans, especially amongst the Tea Party faithful. Sanchez is truly a rising star in the Republican Party, and no doubt we will be hearing much from him in the future. And there are many, many more national figures invited– yes, some are the most popular, Conservative speakers, the biggest of the big. Again, stay tuned to Under the Radar for more information as we get it.

Restoring America Project is making every attempt to only contract with local vendors and suppliers for all of our needs. In fact, the staging and sound systems will be provided by a company from Albuquerque. Our tenting is also coming out of there. Many people inquired about this subject. So now you know.

We have extended invitations to many of the nation’s largest conservative organizations, and some have confirmed with us.  Some of these groups will be installing Hospitality Tents for the event. As I get a full list, I will keep you all updated.

Before I forget, we are bringing in many, many activities for the younger conservatives attending the festival. One of these activities I am currently working on is a Ferris Wheel. If anyone knows where I can snare one, please do send along that information. The giant 150 foot tall hot air balloon ” Bald Eagle ” will be making his presence known. (photo on website) If you have never seen a  pumpkin chunker, you’re truly deprived. I personally haven’t, and I am officially deprived. From what I hear, these  contraptions can shoot off a large pumpkin over a mile! This is something that would make the famous comedian Gallagher smile.  If you’re too young to remember him: his schtick was smashing melons and pumpkins with a sledgehammer (or some other object) and watching them explode on impact. Can you imagine your Halloween pumpkin being launched a mile away, then exploding? Sounds like fun to me!

Under the Radar!

This is the part where you, the The Tea Party Tribune and Celebrating Liberty reader, get the inside information that the mainstream media can’t give you!

While I cannot divulge every politician that we have invited, let’s just say this: I swear on my favorite black cowboy hat, you will be shocked at who may be coming! They don’t get any bigger, patriots. The minute they confirm, I promise you, we will let you know. I can say this much– we’ve officially extended a invitation to Congressman Allen West (Florida), Senator Marco Rubio (Florida), Governor Susana Martinez ( New Mexico ) and many others. Let’s all hope that they all can work Celebrating Liberty Festival into their busy schedules. We will also extend invitations (when his campaign begins accepting them) to Governor Mitt Romney ( The Presumptive Nominee ) and the Veep Candidate, as well .

As I said in the last paragraph, we cannot tell you everything that might happen. But here’s what I can tell you about our entertainment prospects. In Under the Radar, we will keep you informed about this: we’re working on, persuading, coercing, begging and several other adjectives for the following: Mr. Ted Nugent, Mr. Clay Walker and the legend Gloria Estafen and the Miami Sound Machine.

This is meant to keep the fans of Celebrating Liberty Festival current on our shenanigans. What’s this all about?

“Can this site get any slower?” is something I often found myself saying. The Tea Party Tribune has been experiencing slow site speed and performance for quite a while. The reasoning behind the sluggish experience is due to the sheer amount of traffic we’ve been receiving. Thousands of views a day with a lot of calls to our articles, database, content which is constantly updated and cleaned, news sources we’re aggregating information from, etc… all takes its toll on our server.

It was apparent that TPT was in need of a dire update to alleviate the “user experience wound” left on users after trying to use the website. A series of upgrades were done to achieve this. Those upgrades include:

1.Cleaning up resource heavy code.

The first step to speeding up the website was to figure out what was slowing it down. I worked with a special software which hooks into the website and dumps all the code, calls, methods, functions, and classes. It allows me to sort it and analyze where the site’s bottlenecks were. After cleaning that up, we were no longer was getting server error and was able to serve at least everyone who requested the site (as opposed to erroring or leaving a blank white page which loads indefinitely).

2. Setup a CDN

A CDN is basically a place to people to store images, stylesheets, scripts, and other files which loads on every page. The content delivery network delivers the assets faster than our server can and provides caching, so your browser knows to look at your computers secret local storage instead of trying to download the images again. Most assets and images on the site is now being served using Amazon’s CloudFront and S3 (simple storage).

3. Cache, everything

We also setup and optimized our caching process by allowing our database to have a “larger memory” buffer so it can send post content back to us without having to search inside itself every single time, cache our page’s content so we don’t constantly “reload” those sidebar content (such as recent reactions) everytime a request is made, etc.

4. Super charged page content with Varnish

And finally, I setup something called “Varnish”, which super charges our page content and delivers it in records time to the browser. Imagine a large building which has 8 revolving doors and hundreds to thousands of people outside. Their purpose? To go inside, grab a free snack, and leave. Varnish essentially is a single vendor on the outside of the building with a humongous stack of snacks and is literally throwing it out to the crowd. This prevents them from even wanting to walk inside and can serve hundreds of people at a time.

Varnish takes a page’s content, saves it as a HTML file, and stores it for later. It does all the site’s processing, thinking, database calls, and renders it into a flat file which can be instantly served to visitors instead of having to call the database and have PHP do intense thinking again.

Missouri to ban foreign law from use in state courts

Frank J. Gaffney Jr. writes “American Law for American Courts”, Preserving the Constitution means rejecting Shariah.

Shortly before Newt Gingrich’s decisive victory in South Carolina last week, he was asked a critical question by a Palmetto State voter: Would he support a Muslim candidate for president? The former speaker of the House answered in a way that was both characteristically insightful and profoundly helpful with respect to one of the most serious challenges our country faces at the moment.

Mr. Gingrich responded by saying it depends on a critical factor: Is the candidate “a modern person who happens to worship Allah”? Or is he “a person who belonged to any kind of belief in Shariah, any kind of effort to impose that on the rest of us”? Mr. Gingrich observed that the former would not be a problem, while the latter would be a “mortal threat.” The Georgia Republican went on to assert the need for federal legislation that would prevent Shariah from being applied in U.S. courts.

Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are squealing like, well, stuck haram (or impure) pigs. After all, they have been working overtime to try to obscure the true nature of Shariah and to prevent the enactment of legislation that would interfere with the considerable progress being made below the radar in states across the country: the insinuation of Shariah into the American judiciary.

Resorting to their standard technique of ad hominem attacks, CAIR and its friends have derided Mr. Gingrich’s stance as “racist,” “bigoted” and “Islamophobic.” Such comments evidently were not persuasive to South Carolina voters – and they should be equally dismissed by everybody else.

The Muslim Brotherhood in America calls this “civilization jihad.” It seeks through, for example, the use of Shariah in U.S. courts to insinuate their program here at the expense of our constitutional rights and state public policy.

A sense of how far along we are in this process was provided by a study conducted last year by the Center for Security Policy. Titled “Shariah in American Courts,” it examined a small microcosm of U.S. jurisprudence. Its findings were alarming: Out of a sample of 50 cases, in 27 instances in 23 states, the courts involved allowed the use of Shariah to adjudicate the dispute.

In almost all of the cases, that outcome was at the expense of the constitutional rights of American women or children. Under Shariah, they simply do not enjoy the same stature and are not entitled to the same freedoms they are under U.S. law.

Dear Fellow Patriots,

On July 1 of next year, a new law will take effect to protect Virginians against abuses of federal power. My Anti-NDAA Detention bill, HB 1160, overwhelmingly passed both houses yesterday afternoon. Together, you and I can claim this incredible victory for Virginia against an ever-encroaching federal government.

Virginia is telling Congress “No Thanks,” to any participation in the unconstitutional “detention” of American citizens without trial, legal counsel, specific charges, or the right to face an accuser as authorized under the 2012 Defense Authorization Act signed by President Obama this past December.

This victory would not have been possible without strong grass-roots support for my bill from Virginians of all political backgrounds and persuasions.  I want to thank the many liberty-minded citizens across Virginia who took the time to write letters, send emails and make phone calls to the Governor and Assembly members.

And I am proud of the Assembly’s response.

Virginia is the first state to pass a law which places a legal bar between all state agencies and any federal effort to use Section 1021 of the 2012 NDAA to suspend habeas corpus rights which go back centuries.  I hope that Virginia’s enactment of HB 1160 will be replicated in other states.  States still have a significant role and duty to resist federal overreach. In the words of the Richmond Times Dispatch editorial in support of HB 1160, “Congress and the President should be made aware that their contempt for fundamental constitutional rights does not sit well with the American public.”

RUMSFELD ENDORSES NEWTON FOR U.S. CONGRESS IN CD3
